Cooling Fountain Plaza with Hundreds of Water Jets in Breda

During the summer of 2017, visitors to Kasteelplein in Breda could enjoy a spectacular and refreshing water attraction. We installed the unique Vrede Fountain right in the centre of Breda. The fountain was built on a 10 x 10-metre platform featuring 360 DMX-controlled nozzles that move up and down.

The Vrede Fountain was built to celebrate 350 years of the Peace of Breda and remained in front of Breda Castle for one month. Visitors could enter the fountain free of charge and experience a 10-minute programme on the platform. The water jets move up and down in different patterns, sometimes suddenly surrounding visitors with walls of water. A unique, contemporary and refreshingly different experience.
